    Thanks mate.

    DA Muro:
Luckily for 8Franz and Tepid to post something about it otherwise I'm not sure I would have discovered it soon.

The program itself is pretty well built.
It's like Paint Online + advanced extras

But offline, I mostly use GIMP for the variety of available plugins and drawing presets.

I use the GIMP for bitmap graphics and CorelDRAW for vector.

    I mostly make bitmaps.
For vectors I tried Adobe Illustrator but didn't got the time to learn much of it.

In truth they are completely different techniques and each has its use. Just lately I have been doing mostly vectors or a mixture of the two. The x-wing fighter I posted here was vector done in CorelDRAW with the background bitmap created in GIMP. The last one, the Christmas one was entirely vector.

    I see... Great work!

With vectors you have infinite zoom in and you can export in any desired resolution.
That's why you've chosen HD size in the first place.

Thank you Hopachi. Yes you can zoom vectors to any size you like without loss of resolution. The reason for the 1920x1080 resolution is that I was advised that this was the best resolution to post Wallpapers. Bitmaps generally scale down better than up.

Yes I agree. Hence I also post in 1080p. The last Damuro (online sample) image I posted is smaller because of an "unregistered member" limitation.

You've probably also seen some 2600x1920 scaled images, I've even seen 3200x2000 images but monitors for this size are still to be made. The HD will cover most of the way I guess, I don't even have HD monitors yet: but I can simulate that in VBox Scale Mode.
