I want to be able to choose where my tiles go when placed inside of a group. Notice the screenshot below. I would like the Left4Dead 2 tile and the StarCraft 2 to be placed right below the Batman tile (which would give me only 3 columns but every time I placed them there, then 2 more tiles automatically shift over forcing a forth unwanted column. Is there any way to counteract this so that I can achieve only 3 columns if that's what I desire?
Thanks.

Hello BeKure. One possible move is to manipulate tile positions with blank fillers from a tile maker app in the store. ... also in combination with Decor8. I sometimes like to position tiles in a particular place.

I couldn't find any tile maker apps in the store (I'm not familiar with any in the windows store) I only use OblyTile which is a aftermarket tile creator (and the only one I'm familiar with) and as far as I know, it doesn't offer option to create "blank fillers" nor is there a app in the Windows store called Decor8.
I also goggled Decor8 and came up with nothing in regards to creating Windows 8 tiles.
Thanks anyhow though.

The name of the app is Custom Tile Maker in the store. And "Stardock" Decor8 is used to customize your start screen backgrounds. The process involves creating a blank colored image using a paint program, then using the store app, apply the blank colored image to the tiles as filler on the start screen. Decor8 is used to make the start screen any color (or image-s) you choose to blend in with the tiles. If you don't need all those games today, (some could be removed) and perhaps they could be launched from the apps area.
Or create another group.
Ok that was helpful. Much appreciated. I guess my only option is to create some blank colored tiles and place them in my game category on my Start screen.
Microsoft should have made this a lot easier. Shame on them.
