Hi guys, I recently find windows 8 very cool and I am wondering if it will behave cool on my netbook with specifications:
Intel Atom n227/or 8 I think/ 1.66Ghz
RAM 1 GB
Videocard No idea
HDD 250 GB
Honestly it is a little hard with Windows 7 Ultimate so I use Windows 7 Home Professional, on the other hand it was said that win 8 will be equal and even less performance needed, I don't want to put my head in the bag, so tell me what you think.

The screen resolution needs to be 1024 x 768 or better for most Metro apps - of course that's moot if you run from the desktop all the time.

You can update the screen resolution with a known registry change (outlined in one of the other forum posts - if I find the link I will post it here) but apparently the results are less than ideal.

Don't waste your time unless you can overcome the obstacles. Overall, yes, if Win7 runs on the netbook so will Win8, but figure to run most everything from the desktop or endure the distorted display.

The resolution is 1024 x768 so no problems? i don't play games on it of course :D, it is my internet and MS Office provider nothing more nothing less.

It's not just games but just about anything else in Metro, but if you're at 1024 x 768 that should be no problem.

Just to be on the safe side, though, create a disk image of your running system so you can get back to it if for some reason Windows 8 does not play well on your netbook. The resolution on mine was too small and I didn't want to do the display resolution tweak, so I just restored the disk image and I was back in business with Windows 7 again.
