Thread: Ideas for Windows 8

Since we haven't even hit pre-alpha for this thing yet, I thought I might as well begin with some things Microsoft should include:

1)Three editions: Netbook, Home, and Pro.
2)Brand new UI, but keep the taskbar!
3)Built in the M programming language (as opposed to C++).
4)Out-of-the-box essentials (Office suite, web browser choice, torrent downloader ).
5)Virtual Desktops.
6)Extended clipboard (copy more than just one thing!).
7)New media player (combo of Zune and WMP).
8)Built-in drivers for mice, keyboards, and flash drives.

Also, I'd just like to add that I find it funny that we have this forum when Windows 7 hasn't even started shipping yet.
