I told my son when he got married that marriage is not a 50-50 proposition. You either both give 100+% or it just won't work.
My wife and I will be married 44 years on August 5th.
I watch and read all your responses in 7 and enjoy them to the utmost!
    Ohh!!

Yeah we have that as well (if not mainly from US TV though), except when written over here it's spelt differently: 'half arsed'

I really was half asleep in interperitting your censorship.

As for marriage, well my uncle is still working on the speach he's going to give at my cousins wedding, maybe you could give him some tips .

Thanks for the compliment on my posting on SF; you yourself add a certain spin to things I would never have been able to come up with , they always bring a smile to my face .

Oh and when you try and say 'across the pond' do you attempt it in an English accent? I don't know anyone in Britain who doesn't say it in a rather atrocious American accent.

    Aye M8!
I am glad my sick sense of humor brings a smile to your face as I hear that from several of the 7F group.
You have a great evening or is it morning there. PST here is 4:09 pm.
Take care my half arsed friend. :-)

Speaking of timezones I had the exact same problem figuring out when my mum's untechnological friend's guests were arriving from San Fran Cisco, flight times are very confusing when they don't have GMT or GMT-8 written on them. To cut a long story short we thought they were arriving yesterday evening but in fact they arrived this morning!

    Oli,
I thought Judge Judy gave you strict orders not to eat Key Lime Pie.
You are in contempt and sentenced to hard labor! ha ha ha

Whole Scandinavia is going crazy today, celebrating the wedding of the crown princess Victoria of Sweden, the most popular member of all royal families in Scandinavia. Tried to call my mother and sister in Finland, found out they have both traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, for weekend, to "participate" the wedding.
