Hey guys
People in my area are constantly bothered by these guys constantly phoning from 'Microsoft' saying their computers are at risk etc etc.
The amount of people that have come into the shop I work in and complain about it is unreal - not to mention the people that have actually payed for the service....
We get these calls at my house all the time and I think "Microsoft" :sarc: are starting to get tired of being rick rolled... :dinesh:

Since these guys don't seem to care about being threatened by police or anything - anyone got any creative ideas to waste their time? Turns out on my days off it's a decent form of entertainment :p

I usually get one or two a day but I'd had two by 11am today.

This is the way I normally deal with them (see attached wav).

It always amazes me how they can just keep going at the script no matter what you throw at them, attached are two of todays unsolicited calls one of which is pretty much along the same lines as the first one I posted.

That's hilarious, especially calling the computer savvy! Sounds like fun! Thank our lucky stars for being able to register our phone numbers here in the U.S. so we don't have to listen to those morons!

For the computer ones, what I do gives a far quicker response; I just inform them that I'm a programmer with 15 years experience, have built my own systems for over 20, etc, and they've usually hung up within .0625 seconds of the word 'programmer'. For most others, I confuse them by telling them that my phone shows them clearly calling from overseas when they've stated they are calling from Melbourne; the stuttering on the other end is hilarious as they try to convince me otherwise, and they never seem to cotton on that my phone has Caller ID.

Yours however is far funnier and I will definitely be trying it.
