I say it's going to be called Windows 8. I don't think MS would go thru the trouble of starting to call their OS by a number after all this time, i.e Windows 7, then just change it back to a name again. Logically, they would continue to stick with what they have started, naming as a number.

Midori (which is what people were calling it before) dosent sound to me (but also longhorn didnt sound to me...) as a OS that i could see marketed (but its just a codename i guess)....
it sounds more like sets of technologies (like morro Microsoft a/v technology...)

Well there is no real details on Windows '8' so how do you know for a fact that they are only using numbers? I mean, Azure isn't a number but its the name of their cloud-based OS.
Everyone's just calling it Windows 8 because we have nothing else to refer to it as (nothing easy to say in conversation at least).
