I thought this was worth mentioning.

Since I changed my screensaver on the Mac bit of my Mac I have 2 screens with nice twirly abstract colours on and 1 with quarts composer flashing randomly across the screen.

USB 2.0 apparently isn't good enough for openGL .

Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong.

Don't use a background or screensaver on any of my computers. I consider both to be useless fluff.

I've altered mine for awhile, I now have my desktop running a slide show taken from my wallpaper folder and turned off the screen saver.

It doesn't mean I wont go back to using it again though as I have it running the Pictures folder so it's always a surprise whats showing next.

I'm with you Joan. I really enjoy a variety of Screensaver pics and images, plus the surprise of never knowing exactly what you're going to get from moment to moment. Right now, this is my current Background. (I originally found it in the Vista Forums Pictures Gallery) It's a classic, and one of my all time favorites!

Now here's the real question: is it a mac, or is it a pc?

For desktop I use a folder of vacation pictures - cheers me up. For screensaver I run various videos.
