I didn't quite know where to put this, so off topic is close enough. I did try Win8 on a VM, but I don't want to go through the risk of running it native/
I've become accustomed to having a 2 monitor setup and multitasking; my left monitor is work (source code, database layout, etc) or game/video, and my right monitor is viewing work, but most importantly, the general computer use. I'm concerned about Metro and how I use apps on my right monitor.
For instance, right now I have Chrome with 8 tabs, mIRC running on top, WinAmp also running on top, in a layout that lets me access all three, and jump to Thunderbird and other apps quickly on the taskbar.
What I'm concerned with is Metro-izing apps taking over the screen instead of letting me run multiple apps on top of each other (neverminding Explorer windows)...
How is this doable in Win8?
