More information about the German Netflix and it's launch here yesterday, this applies also to all other new countries where Netflix launched yesterday:
Netflix launches in Germany (in English too) - The Local
The Local said:
Those who subscribe to Netflix in Germany can choose to watch shows in a German-dubbed version as well as in the original language with subtitles, meaning English speakers can watch hit shows such House of Cards in English.
Luckily they went for double audio track system, original or German dub instead of just dubbing as is usual here; All foreign TV and movies are dubbed which really is annoying. Lip movements totally out of sync, actors I know well have strange voices and so on. In addition, the dubbing is often done so badly that you can hear a studio like echo without any natural background noises like for instance the traffic when a scene happens in a street.
Totally off topic but I was the first to tweet about this subject
, the same day Netflix confirmed they are coming here:

Until now I have used Netflix from my native Finland over a private Finnish VPN, now I can use both German and Finnish:

Users with an existing account from another country will be able to access German as well as their country's content, a Netflix spokeswoman told The Local.
The biggest difference in Finnish and German content is domestic films and shows. Finnish Netflix have some Finnish films and series not available here and vice versa.
I like Netflix, I only have found two flaws in their system. First, as Chromecast does not work if you are using a proxy / VPN, I cannot cast the Finnish content which I only get using a Finnish VPN.
Second flaw is subtitles. I have no issues in watching content in English, German and all 4 Scandinavian languages without subtitles, but I do need subtitles watching for instance a French movie or some East European content (they make superb films there!). If the show / movie is only available on German Netflix, I only get subtitles in German, not in one of my two mother tongues Finnish or Swedish which I would naturally prefer.
Here's an example what I mean, the same show and episode first using Finnish Netflix:
... and then from German Netflix:
Other than that I am a satisfied Netflix user.
