    Golf

Well, the golfing season is finally in full swing here in Idaho, USA, and it feels good to get out and attempt to drive a golf straight.

How many here on the Eights play golf, and if you do how is your game? Do you ride a cart or do you walk? What ball do you use, and what is your prefer driver?

    I'll start out:

Walk, I am out for the game and the exercise.
I really like the new NXT, thou I have been testing the New D2 by Topflite.
My main driver is a Cleveland XLT stiff shift, and by secondary driver is a Cobra 460 X Speed with a XShift (extra stiff).

I was born 2 play golf!!!
    1. I take a cart to play golf as the courses around here are hilly.
    2. I use the Bridgestone golf ball
    3. My irons are Ping G-5- stiff shaft
    4. Driver and 3 wood are Taylor Made stiff shaft

I always said, watching golf is like watching paint dry.

I played a LOT of baseball for a pretty long time, so once I tried swinging a golf club, it wasn't pretty. Might as well give be a bat to hit the ball off of the tee.
I gave up right away. Couldn't get away from the baseball swing......and it's not my kinda sport anyway.

    MWRed,
I played a lot of baseball too, when I was younger, and the transition to golf was easy.
Your stance is the same and taking the club back is like setting up for a fastball and your eyes are on the golfball, baseball. Your weight shifts back to your back foot. Then you attack the ball with a good solid motion and take the ball just over the pitcher's mound. Right down the middle.
Watch Freddie Couples or Ernie Els golf swing. Smooth and Solid contact with the ball.
Now get back out there young man and let's do it for the Gipper! ha ha

LOL.....I know. My cousin tried getting me to do it again, but that was years ago. I haven't touched a club since then.
