    I don't think it will take a couple of years. There are reports of the alpha should be released sometime early Q1-Q2 2010, the betas would soon follow. Microsoft is already working on Windows 8. But I guess you never know, might take two years, I hope not.

    If they release it too soon they'll lose a lot on revenue from the sale of 7, they will feel has to be made up.
