Hi there

I wonder now if the end for RT is inevitable - with the latest Nokia phone to be an ANDROID device and the Surface Pro 3 being standard Windows.

M s is STILL having problems in developing apps for its phone that can't compete with whats available on Android already. -- I actually LIKE the Windows phone but for what I use the Android apps are far better.

BBC News - Microsoft to release Android-powered Nokia X2 handset

Cheers

No...

The Nokia X2 is a Windows Phone'd version of android, it's more or less designed to be a dirt cheap entry level Nokia handset with android but looks like Windows Phone, and runs Microsoft's services. The idea is that later in the future, that person might just go with a Nokia Lumia 530 because of the similarity in design and a better feature set than the X2.

There is no abandoning of WinRT or WinPRT or WinXRT at all.
