Downloading LEGAL software from UK mirror site University of Kent - Gave up it's TOO slow -- showed it would be nearly 4 hrs !!! to download a 1.2 GB download of Linux mint QIANA (17).
Logged on to Iceland mirror -- 28 Mins for the same thing even though I'm currently in the UK and having to use Bovine Technology (BT's) ISP non cable service.
Seems a bit strange that a primary Mirror service like University of Kent (UK) has such a slow download service !!!
Next time you guys want to download something - the nearest or most obvious mirror isn't always the best one to use !!!!
