Does an apprentice count as a pet? His name is 'Not again, Kurt!'. He is 19 years old, so we could already use hime to produce some puppies but we've noticed he's not so interested in opposite sex of his species; instead he has this almost unnatural interest in blinking lights and sounds of a computer.

He likes to run around without a goal, it's very amusing to follow him to try to get attention. He lives on Kit-Kat's and coke, is almost housebroken. He opens his mouth sometimes as if he tries to bark but you can hear only some unintelligent sounds. This happens especially if he sees somebody whose attention he wants.

4 lizards in my courtyard. They cannot get out because of the wall and the screen, but they are also safe from snakes and birds. They seem to have a good life and apparently enough to eat because they are there since a few years..

Are they really yours, or just squatters?

One day they must have slipped in. At first there were 2, but then 2 more were born in the courtyard (which has a big planter with palms, tea olives and other bushes and grasses). Here is one of them:

If you live in the US, I would highly recommend against any dog. Between the nuisance of leashing laws, the lack of public land where the can run and then you cannot take them anyplace - the poor dog would be mainly confined to the house. In Europe that is different. I could let my dogs run (German shepherds), I took them to any restaurant or mall, etc. But once I was transferred to the US (with the dogs). It was a horror even though it was California where the rules were a little more relaxed.

Well at present I just have the one cat the other just vanished last year, my husband has about 50 guinea pigs, he shows them. Over the years I've had numerous pets of all kinds, dogs, cats, horses, mice, rats, gerbils, cockertiels and numerous other variety of birds, fish, well you name it and at some time it's probably been apart of the family
