Pear Linus as sold out. They will not say to who, however, the company that bought them out is known at this time, and has ask Pear Linux not to disclose them for the time being. All is known at the time is the buyers are a well known company who is primary interested in using the OS for their own products; they have also removed any ability of downloading Pear Linux from the old Pear Linux site, albeit Softpedia is still carrying it on their servers and will do so until asked to remove the OS from their servers, so if you would still like to play with or use Pear Linux go to the Softpedia site and type in Pear Linux in their search box and get a copy. By the way Pear Linux is based on the Ubuntu Linux ideal, put with a smoother and cleaner looking inface. . .:D
