Building a new budget rig next week with Windows 8 on.

As title, building a new budget rig for the lounge next week, I have a few old parts laying around and will be buying some nice new shiny bits namely CPU, Mobo and memory so I thought I would check back in here and say hi to everyone.

No doubt I will need a little help and will be searching the forums for useful info.

    Hope everyone is well.

    Hey Jaidyn,

Yes for sure I will get some pics up, it's not going to be an amazing rig but it's just for general surfing, catch up tv and maybe some light gaming.

    Ordering parts next Tues.

I had some major issues with the graphics driver so ended up putting windows 7 on it.

I just posted some pics on sevenforums in the 'show us your rig' thread.

    Looks good, Paul!

    Not very 'budget' though.

Lol, depends what you class 'budget' as.

My main rig owes me around £1300

Seeing as I managed to use some old spare parts on the new build it cost me a total of £230 and that included a new monitor

It's a fantastic PC for the money for sure.
