    Well this is just peachy.... My 1TB drive just took a shitty.

    or maybe the enclosure is shot. either way I'm not happy, and before I destroy the drive [RMA] you guys have any suggestions?

    Some information on what make ,size,type of drive and what is happening,is it visible in explorer etc would be nice to know.
    Supply all the information you can and we might be able to help.

    Oops forgot this thread existed.

    its in my specs but its a WD 1TB.

    Thermaltake said that it was the enclosure is at fault not the drive.

    Rosewill enclosure, went bust. The power supply couldn't provide enough power to spin up the drive all the way.

    WD said the drive is fine as well for only a year old. Power issue not getting enough power to seek the drive.

    Puts the drive in a reboot loop [spin up, attempt to seek, spin down - in loop].
