Gluten free, dairy free cake

My husband is on a gluten free diet and dairy free and today I made him this yummy chocolate chip cake, it was so good that it tasted like real bakery cake

I am dairy free, both of us are dairy free, but my husband is on the gluten free diet because he has this strange rash so the doctor told him to go gluten free for 6 mths and see if the gluten is causing the rash, he has 2 mths to go, the rash is gone but we still do not know if it is the diet or contact dermatitis. At 6 mths he will slowly put gluten back in his diet and see what happens

My Mom has Celiac, she can't eat most of my favorite stuff. Has to find alternatives. A Guy

A guy, I do not know if she has a stop and shop supermarket in her town but they have an entire isle for gluten free, all health food stores like Whole Foods have many gluten free items, it seems so many people are allergic to gluten the manufactures have come out with so many interesting things to eat

So, where's the recipe? What good is it to post a picture of a delicious looking cake but not post the recipe so that others bake it and try for themselves? That borders on being sadistic.

Lol, actually, it comes in a bag by redmill, I just changed some of the ingredients, it is called Chocolate Cake. I substituted almond milk for whole milk to make it dairy free, instead one cup margarine, I made it half cup low sugar natural apple sauce and half cup margarine . I used it instead of butter because butter is made from milk and I used non dairy margarine


The icing is coco powder mixed with confectionary sugar and a stick of non dairy margarine mixed up together, and put in a pastry tube to make the swirls

We actually found so many gluten free foods, desserts, breads that are gluten free, we found frozen bagels by Udis. A guy , tell mom abut this company, they come frozen and many varieties and really taste good, they also make reg bread

Oh I forgot, I added half cup all natural dairy free chocolate chips to make it a little richer

She knows about gluten free foods, and they are improving, but are more expensive, etc.
