Nice little garden. Wouldn't save much on our food bill since we don't use much in the way of tomatoes, cukes or peppers.

We have a small orchard with apple, pomegranate, pear, asian pear, apricot, persimmon, plum and walnut trees. About the only vegetable that I would consider growing in a garden that my family would actually use is corn.

There is a field directly across the street from our house where they grow jalapeno peppers. I could walk across the street and pick as much as I wanted but have no use for peppers!

I use lots of tomatoes.
In the stores here they are usually about $2.59 a pound.
Green peppers about $0.89 each.
Cucumbers about the same as peppers.
I had beets, & pickled them.
Got 10 pints.
A pint of pickled beets is over $5.00 here.
