Holy shit. It shouldn't be a surprise, but it is

I've bagged Apples business model and Jobs' polo necks for years, but the man was an undeniable visionary. For better (or worse) we wouldn't be computing as we are today without his input.

The computing world mourns the loss of an icon.

Foe me the first PC/Manchine that was ushered to me was that of Apple/Mac. This was decades ago.

The man left behind (or so they say) $7.6B....i thought he had alot more.

Steve Jobs was a great man, no matter what you thought of his products. His vision and perseverance is what got computing to where it is today, and without him Bill Gates would have slacked off.

Far too often, the brightest stars dim all too quickly.

RIP, Mr. Jobs, you will be missed.

Steve Jobs was a great man to whom we owe a lot. He will be remembered as one of the founding fathers of modern communication.

LOL! Sadly, that could have been quite true. Microsoft didn't even originally develop DOS did they? I thought I read somewhere that they bought that from some other company...

I believe the first 86-DOS that Microsoft purchased was the one from Seattle Computer Products. That was in 1981 for $50,000.
