Looks like MS has been subsidising the devs all along by paying for a lot of ads
They seem to have stopped doing that. Tough for the devs, I suppose, but they asked for it by supporting the much loathed os.
I expect MS will find a way of continuing to pay not just the oems, but the devs as well ...They might as well cut out the middleman and pay the public directly to use 8.
