I think THIS might kill any market for 7 inch tablets -- however as a PHONE I think it's just a tad too bog -- looks a bit stupid like those people with the 7 inch phablets making phone calls in a crowded place.

My Ideal Max size for a phone is the new Samsung 4 (or the ever so slightly smaller Galaxy IIIs).

I wonder if Samsung have backed the wrong horse here -- the company has been pretty shrewd in the past but c'mon Peeps : Would you really use a 7 inch monster as a mobile phone. !!!!

I wonder if a W8 version of this will appear too.

I'm onboard for one of those....just what I've been waiting for.

I'm up for a phone, but buying outright this time. I'll look into this. Seems it might be ideal. Looking for a Windows phone though.

I need to get something else mobile. Mostly viewing blueprints and estimating spreadsheets. A seven inch or even a ten inch tablet/pad (Surface) would be too small for me. I don't want a lappy. A hybrid at 13 to 15 may be ideal.

    Thanks for posting the article.

I just got the wife the Nexus 4 (Jelly Bean 4.2.2) straight up....moving to ST (straight talk)....before warned, if you guys go this route check your area for ST compatibility....seems the only provider currently is T-Mobile...which is not available in my area with ST. ATT pulled all their sim cards from check thoroughly as to what's available. I had to buy a ATT sim card off for $ and demand sucks. But the damn phone Rocks...very fast.

I'm sold. There, I said it, I want one. The other day I was poking around some Windows tablets out on display at the amazon showroom and picked up the 8 inch Windows tablets. Before, my experience with such was playing with a Dell Venue Pro 8 and that was just something that boggled my mind....

Surface Pro output on large> 48 inch LCD screens
Hi there I see the RT PRO (available early in 2013) has like the Surface RT an HDMI out. Metro Apps tend to look a bit silly on these large screens -- Three or even four could fit comfortably on this type of screen and the live applications would look great. Hopefully Ms will come up with...

What Windows 8 [Metro] Apps might be useful on a 24-inch monitor?
So far I haven't seen any Windows 8 apps that make sense for a 24-inch monitor. Of course there aren't very many available yet so the question might be better stated as "What Windows 8 apps imagined for tablet or smaller screens would be useful on a 24-inch monitor?" Of course you can run all of...
