In your opinion which one is the free Cloud Storage service with biggest storage allowance?

I don't need any extra online apps associated with it, like ability edit or view it online.
Just online storage, like Online HDD, thats it.
Only free services please.

Preferably big uploading file size limit.
Obviously extra features like shared download link, and view it online are welcome. But I've Google Drive and others for that.

WAIT!
Mega.co.nz is successor of Megaupload.
It is second website by Kim Dotcom, who previously operated Megaupload that was taken down by FBI.
I don't want to risk my data by storing them on a website that has potential of shutting off.
I know that its unlikely and all that... but I just find this concern.
Also there Terms seem to very strict this time, saying they will inspect user's files and copyrighted contents will be deleted.
Also for free users bandwidth is limited.

Any thoughts?

Mega is FAR better than Megaupload. And it's upload limit is only limited by Browser Memory.

MrShowdown, yes I realized the file size part, that's really impressive and desired feature especially by free users.
But as I mentioned above I am just concerned about their terms of services (I know many people don't read it but I glanced over).
And they are successor of Megaupload so...

LADYPINKtomato1, I do know about Zoozl as I mentioned above.
I did signup for them, hopefully I'll get it before they reach the limit.

Thank You for replying.

Brummyfan, such cloud storage websites can only access files on your computer that you give them access to.
Mostly you will upload files through a web browsers so once you close the browser they will have no access to your computer at all.
Although files you uploaded online are accessible by them since they'll be store on their servers.
IF you download desktop version of those website that keeps running in background and access your HDD and uploads files to the server in order to provide real time backup will have access to nearly all files on your HDD unless you specify the directory.
I can't say if using such services are 100% safe but there are tons of users who uses such services, including me.
To enhance your document's privacy you should consider using trusted providers such as Googl Drive and Microsoft Skydrive.

As the saying goes, be careful of what you wish for, you just may get it.

That said, be wary of all those insanely large "free" offerings of cloud storage space. What else are you getting (or giving up) with "50 gig of free space"??? As I tell my kids, sometimes an unsecured connection is left that way for a reason ;)

With that, if you must put your info in cloud, stick with the more established, reputable companies. These guys, Google, Microsoft, Drop Box offer on average about 5 gig of free storage space, with Microsoft's SkyDrive, (the one I use) offering the most (7 gig).

Cloud computing can be extremely useful, and convenient, especially, especially if you want to sync files between devices. I use Microsoft's SkyDrive which also allows me to keep files sync'd on 3 PC's and a smartphone. Android phones use the SkyDrive app. I would urge caution as to what files you put in the cloud - files with account numbers or passwords for example.

When I put anything sensitive in my cloud, I put it into a box cryptor container. Google it, is free and works good.

My primary cloud storage is dropbox. I also use Skydrive as they have me 25GB free.
