My gaming monitor's a Samsung 'SyncMaster' 740N LCD. It's a few years
old, and is 'only' 17", but is a little beauty!
Its quality more than compensates for its supposed lack of size, and it is
currently running at 1280x1024. You can laugh, if you must....
But then, I ain't rich, and can neither afford nor justify the cost of a large
dedicated monitor. Nor do I have the physical space for anything bigger.
If I do decide I need more screen real-estate, I hook the big laptop up to
my 26" LCD TV (sadly, only 1366x768, but it does the job). The Win 8
DP looked great on it!
Wenda.

Edit: - I also have a 15" Diamond Data LCD, which I sometimes use as a
second monitor on the big laptop with Win 8. Keep laughing, if you like.

vv The Samsung @1280x1024, with my Vista desktop..... vv
