My apology then. I didn't realize one needed that badge to write tutes, for I didn't write any until I had the badge, however, there might remain a chance if you PM Brink. He may make an exception to place it at his discretion. View Profile: Brink - Windows 8 Forums. He is a very busy man, so I suggest that you exercise patience.

So far as HTML I wouldn't know. I suggest to start a thread on your question here: General Support - Windows 8 Forums

Good luck to you and enjoy your stay.

Using HTML inside a post is a huge security risk and will never be allowed here.

With HTML a user could inject Javascript or XSS code that could do all kinds of god awful things. XSS (Cross-site Scripting) could execute a script, and your browser does not know that the script is dangerous, and will just execute it. These scripts could vary from pranks of endless popups, to redirects to malicious sites, etc. A Guy

Can we have a post similar to the first page of THIS ONE so as to explain the various ranks etc. I know a similar one has been created in this forum but it does not explain things as clearly as the Windows 7 one
