Got my Nokia Lumia 920 Windows 8 phone last night...
My contract with AT&T was up, so I got rid of the old iPhone 3GS, which I hated and got a Nokia Lumia 920, which is a Windows 8 phone. I'm a "Windows guy", so this phone fits me perfectly. It's got a huge beautiful screen, is fast and smooth, does everything I want it to do, intuitively and it's nice!
I'll have this phone for 2 years, so it's important to me that it not frustrate the living hell out of me like the iPhone
3GS and my wife and daughter's HTC Inspire Android phones do. So far, so good!!

It's a very large phone, but it fits nicely in my hand and the screen is beautiful... Very nice for photos, videos and web browsing! Even the Apple fanboys who saw it today were really impressed!

I LOVE THAT PHONE!! OHH!!!
And yes, you are right, it feels great in hand even for a large phone. I felt no difference between my Lumia 900 (4 inch) and the 920. It just feels right, partly because of the rounded edges on the screen that the 900 doesn't have.
I have to ask and demand, can you pretty please take some low light pictures and post them here? And how is the Windows Phone companion app for Windows 7/8? I'm really curious as to how the Windows 8 companion app works as there are very few details about it. Looks very nice though!

I got the red phone (to go with my red MazdaSpeed3)! Anyway, I'm swamped right now but as soon as I get the chance, I'll post pics and details. So far, the phone is EXACTLY what I wanted and I'm really enjoying it, especially the "uninstalling iTunes from every PC in the house" part!!!

I am still leaning to the note till I get a chance to play with this phone, but this phone has caught my attention from the reviews. The price and screen size also put it in the ring. My question is does it interact with the desktop at all? Meaning apps are shared, contacts, set up? Or is it just a similar interface? Just curious as my contract is up in a couple months.

I've suffered with an Apple iPhone 3GS for 2 years and I deserve a decent phone for a change! I love my red Nokia Lumia 920, it's easy to use, great camera (took lots of pics and video at our daughter's swim team banquet this PM) and it's reliable (so far). I easily connected to my MazdaSpeed3 bluetooth and it synced with my PC's effortlessly and I was able to uninstall the computer virus known as "iTunes" from all of our PC's!! WooHoo!!! Now to copy "The Big Lebowski" to my new phone!!!

My Windows 7 desktop sees the phone as a device in device manager and then lets me access the storage on the phone as if it's a disk drive on the PC or server. I drag and drop files where I want and don't have to dgo to any trouble to do it. I will build another Windows 8 PC to test the phone on in the next few weeks.
