I recently installed Windows 8 RTM and am having tons of BSOD's. The machine is still mostly usable, though, as the errors seem to be occurring randomly. Generally, it boots fine, and plays games/other strenuous things fine. Usually the BSOD's occur when idle or when browsing in Chrome. Before I installed Windows 8, I had no problems. I installed Windows 8 to a new SSD, and this is the only hardware that's been changed. I have attached the zip file as instructed with the dump files, etc. Every BSOD lists ntoskrnl, making me think this could just be a stability problem with Win8. However, it could also be a driver issue, a problem with my SSD, or something else that I'm just not thinking of. Hopefully someone wiser than I will be able to help
Edit: Also, everything is at stock clocks and voltages.
I have the same issue with my fresh installed Windows 8 . Random BSODs all pointing towards Ntoskrnl.exe .It has to be some other reason tho which is causing Ntoskrnl.exe crash.
I ran SMART tests on my SSD and there were a couple of errors; I put another one in and no problems yet. The problem for you is probably either SSD/HDD or RAM related.
