need help in BSOD DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

Hey Sharon.

The problem is that Ozzy made this happen as a trick on ya. Here's how to defeat him:

Download the AVG removal tool then use it in safe mode.

Reboot and set Windows Defender and Windows Firewall to automatic and start them.

True.

Based on the info on that page, you'd likely be able to get away with using it in normal mode if you don't know how to get to or activate safe mode.

I've done it.
now, in normal mode, the computer just freezes suddenly and only restart can be done .
What's wrong ? windows 7 worked perfectly...
P.S,
i have a brand new Windows 8 professional (from MSDN).
Thanks,
Sharon.

Glad to hear that bsods are gone. Your freezing issues should be alleviated by updating, especially the old Ricoh card reader drivers:

itecir itecir.sys Tue Jul 13 05:50:47 2010 (4C3C36F7) <<< ITE Consumer IR driver
rimmpx64 rimmpx64.sys Fri Nov 17 20:49:50 2006 (455E66BE) <<< Ricoh
rixdpx64 rixdpx64.sys Fri Nov 17 23:07:46 2006 (455E8712) <<< Ricoh
ISODrv64 ISODrv64.sys Thu Jan 28 22:39:02 2010 (4B625856) << To UltraISO
InputFilter_FlexDef2b InputFilter_FlexDef2b.sys Fri Jun 18 20:36:01 2010 (4C1C10F1) <<< Siliten

Ricoh can simply be Googled and downloaded from any source and it does not matter otherwise what it is intended for. It will work for you. Just make sure you find 2011 or 2012 for it to install.

You're welcome.
