Bsod dpc_watchdog-violation

Hope someone can help here. I am starting to wish I stuck with Win 7 Professional which was stable and running well. Have had nothing but problems with Win8 and hard to believe this will be released commercially soon.

I am getting somewhat random BSOD screens, but it does seem to happen more when I browsing folders in Windows Explorer. I have several large internal drives attached (1 0r 2 TB drives), but these caused no problems under Windows 7 so this may just be coincidental. I do a refresh because Win 8 would not boot at all at one point, but did not realize this would wipe out all of my installed apps. The only upside to this is I don't have many apps or drivers installed at this point which hopefully will make it easier to debug.

This is driving me crazy. If I can't resolve this then probably will have to reinstall Win 7 which will be a huge pain since I can't downgrade from Win 8 and reinstalling requires a complete clean install.

.ZIP file from Windows Collector utility is attached. Thanks in advance for your help. It is a good thing you are doing here.

I had explorer.exe crashes (not BSOD's) when searching. I uninstalled the Windows Reader app and haven't had an issue since (but haven't thoroughly tested it).

Only running the last 10 memory dumps.....

The drivers for this Creative Audio device aren't installed. Please install them or remove the device from your system:
Multimedia Audio Controller PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_00311102&REV_00\4&1B359D48&0&08F0 The drivers for this device are not installed.

You appear to have 5 hard drives. What make, model, and wattage is your PSU?

The WER section of MSINFO32 points to numerous BSOD's that blame storage drivers (mostly the SI3112r.sys driver). More info on this driver here: Driver Reference Table - SI3112r.sys

Is there any reason that you haven't installed the Release Preview yet? It offers significant improvements on the Developers and Consumers Previews.

The SI3112r.sys drivers date from 2007 and probably aren't compatible with Win8. Please update to the latest version available from the Silicon Image website (listed in the link above).

You have the 2005 version of ASACPI.sys installed (the Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility driver). This is a known cause of BSOD's in Win7 systems, so it's very likely to cause them in Win8 systems also. Please visit the Asus website for your motherboard and download/install the latest version.

In the event that none of these fixes the problem, there's a large "presence" of Norton in drivers from the memory dumps.
I'd wonder if there was an infection or a problem with Norton.

Check for an infection (in case Norton is compromised) with the free tools here: Free Online AntiMalware Resources

If the system is clean, then try this:
Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free antivirus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
- uninstall the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free antivirus, then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs
