BSOD less than five minutes into setting up new laptop

Just powered up brand new Toshiba Satellite L70C-13C.

The first thing it did was to run updates; then it asked me for location, time-zone etc.

Next it asked me to log into my Microsoft account. The first time & second time failed - it said I could either try again or leave it until later. I checked my Norton Vault on my other laptop (immediately next to it) and realised that I'd mistyped one character in my password. I leant across to my new laptop and it's the blue screen of death.

I've only had in on for three minutes - what should I do next?

Hi Taffy078,

Welcome to the 8forums.

As this is a new laptop, you simply could RMA it.
