I don't know whether it was there before but since you said it caused the crash i assumed it was and installed the one asus site had. Even after that no service listed
Then it should be in the services.
Please check also the msconfig services:
- Search msconfig and open it
- Go to the tab services
- Check 'Hide Microsoft services'
- Search Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology
- If it is there, disable it
- Click apply > ok
- Reboot if asked.
it isn't listed. There's intel hd graphics control panel service, intel dynamic application loader host service, intel managemetn security, intel compatibility licensing service, intel content protection
There are 3 drivers in the same folder
Place them somewhere else and see if that helps.
You shouldn't get any crashes caused by these drivers after moving them, because these files aren't related to any program anymore.
Code:C:\Windows\system32\drivers\iaStorA.sys C:\Windows\system32\drivers\iaStorAV.sys C:\Windows\system32\drivers\iaStorV.sys
The frequency or lets say time period of crashes has drastically reduced since yesterday. But it did crash once or twice this morning. But comparatively lesser. At the moment I'm using since an hour without trouble. Ill just upload latest dmp files in case that helps you find that crashed it this morning sir.
Ok I moved those drivers elsewhere. WIll use my laptop without charger most of the time and see if the problem persists or not. Thanks sir.
Keep us posted.
System failed to load the next time i booted. Thankfully it got restored, gave me a mini heart-attack. The drivers that i moved are back in place and i guess its not a good idea to move them again. I'll just let you know if there's more BSODs
Install IRST and see if the services are there.
