Whenever i try to shut down my computer it shows this message and takes a lot of time to shut down.and it doesnt

shut down completely,i mean the monitors turns off but the computer still running.Thanks in advance

I've seen this error due to bad installations of software and due to malware.

Please try putting a CD/DVD into the drive. It may take several tries, but the system is looking for a certain file on a certain device. This is most likely a CD/DVD that was pulled out before the program/installation was finished.

Also, try scanning for malware with some of the free tools here: Free Online AntiMalware Resources
