BSOD Driver Power State Failure, Disk usage at 100%

    Looking for some advice/help!

About 1 week ago I started getting a Driver Power State Failure BSOD after wake-up on my PC. At that time several issues started:

    BSOD on wake-up from hibernation
Almost constant near 100% disk usage
Random spikes of 100% memory usage
    Poor performance
Really slow boot times (went from~ 60 seconds to several minutes just to get to the initial motherboard screen image)

    Solutions tried:
    Windows restore
    Norton and Malwarebytes screens
I've tried isolating and removing problem programs from startup and from running in the background without success.
Changed Page file size (recommended on different post)

The performance is painfully slow, the boot time takes forever, and I am getting constant performance alerts from noroton because the disk and ram usage are always near 100%.

The PC is ~ 3 years old and used mostly for work. No new programs have been installed, no new hardware added.

    Any suggestions?
