My machine started to slow down after installing Flash Player a few weeks back. I have since refreshed it, started using Firefox instead of Chrome, removed email accounts and set Mail to manual, removed the old files and settings, and everything else I can think of to speed it up (including disabling indexing). I've also run a full scan with Avast and Malwarebytes which found two files if memory serves.

Anyway, my machine continued to run slowly until this morning. I suspect this may be a separate issue, so I'll get to the point. This morning the Toshiba bloatware told me I had some new Bluetooth and WiFi drivers to install, which I duly did. About fifteen minutes later, whilst using LibreOffice to save .csv file, I got the BSOD mentioned in the title. I suspect it may be driver related, but figure experts know best.

Another thing to note is I got a warning about my AMD video drivers just now. This particular warning claimed my drivers wouldn't work with AMD catalyst. As I have Intel HD 4000 graphics working in tandem with AMD R7 M260 graphics, I have to wonder if I have a graphical issue too. I'll upload the BSOD zip ASAP, assuming my machine doesn't go down again before I manage to do so.

Hi blueelvis,

No worries. If it were easy, it'd be listed on Google.:)

I've not had another BSOD since, but the wider issue continues. I have since upgraded to Windows 10 and set up dual booting with Ubuntu 15.04. Both seem to be affected by the random go slows, which is strange. I've also noted they tend to be most pronounced at around 9am local time, thought that may not be relevant.

Thanks for taking a look at this.

Kind regards,

Gary

Greetings Gary ^_^,

Thanks a lot for having the patience :)
Kindly follow the below steps (Thanks Usasma!) and upload the ZIP file so that I can take a look at it -

Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Hi There,

Quick update.

I noted a problem with LoadAppInit_DLLs being set to 1 when AppInit_DLLs was empty. I've set it to 0.

One down...

Kind regards,

Gary

Kindly follow the below steps -
  1. Kindly download and install the latest Intel Driver from the below link for your operating system - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/75442/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AC-3160
  2. If the crashes still do not stop, kindly remove Avast and MBAM using **LINK** and **LINK** till the time we are troubleshooting.
  3. For the AMD Driver crashes, see if the procedure linked helps you - http://omgdebugging.com/tdr-fix-amd-nvidia-users/

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Hi there,

It seems to have helped a bit. No more BSODs at least. The underlying go slows continue and seem to be related to the hard drive, though I did get a speed boost as soon as I removed Flash (again).
