hello! I've installed win 8 consumer release not long ago, and the windows keep crash from time to time with and says to search for dpc watchdog violation for more info.
after the PC is restarting it says that the problem was with memory.dmp.
at the beginning it happened once in a few weeks so I didn't care but now it happens more often which in not good!
before the crash itself happens the PC freeze and make some weird buzz-like sound, sometime it keeps working after but sometime it crash.
tnx ahead!

Many, many issues in your application log files. Start with Video devices and network devices as they are the most commonly occurring errors. This includes antivirus/internet security programs and other internet aware programs.

Interestingly your system event log stopped in April at 34999 entries.
I'd suggest clearing the logfile and then capturing new reports.
I'd also suggest uploading the reports made by using this utility: Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions - Windows 8, 7 & Vista

More discussion here:
- All errors are STOP 0x133. Not a whole bunch of info available on it, but we've seen a lot associated with antivirus programs.
- nVidia drivers date from March 2012, I suspect that there are more recent versions available
- LogMeIn drivers are old, please uninstall them
- AVVideoCard.sys showed up in your Application log errors a lot - update or uninstall it's program (I think it belongs to your Air Display program)
- Lot's of Norton in the memory dumps, I'd suggest:
Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free antivirus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
- uninstall the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free antivirus, then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

- Further info on BSOD error messages available at: http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html
- Info on how to troubleshoot BSOD's (DRAFT): http://www.carrona.org/userbsod.html

    Windows Defender and Windows Firewall
    Other Info
    I'm handsome and a snappy dresser :0)
I would recommend installing the Win8 Release Preview.
Windows 8 Release Preview ISO formats

Leave your internet connected and let Win8 install the drivers, then check for '?' in Device Manager.

Use Windows Defender (same as MSE) and the Windows Firewall for a while and see if you get any crashes before trying another Anti-Virus or Firewall, then you'll know the cause if it becomes unstable.

    windows 8
ivancarrubi - please start your own topic.
Also, I'd strongly recommend a clean install of the release version of Win8 - as it has many, many fixes for issues that aren't addressed in Win8 CP or RP.

After installing an upgrade to the antivirus software AVG, I got the message DPC. watchdog.violation. The trouble was that the pc didn't stay on long enough to try and find out if I could repair it. It kept restarting, staying on for 10 seconds, going off and restarting again and so on.
My solution was 1. click on windows+R (run screen) type in msconfig, then click on the boot tab. click safe mode and restart.
2. The pc was now open and not continually turning itself off. 3. open the antivirus software and disable it. 4. click on windows + x, then on system, then type in system restore.
4. Found a date 2 days earlier to restore from. Problem solved. I then enabled the basic addition of AVG.
