Solved BSOD immediately after waking from sleep

Hello,
I've been getting seemingly random BSODs immediately after waking my laptop (Acer Aspire V3-571-6456) from sleep while the screen was down. However, my PC does not crash every time it wakes up. My most common error is KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (oneofmydrivershere.exe). This morning, I received a CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. I would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. Also, using the tool, it did not give the proper file name to my folder.

Hi Ntuttle ^_^,

I have analysed your dump files and below has been provided an analysis of the same for informative purposes :-

Code:
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error. Also see
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff6e000001028, lock type that was held (value 1,2,3, or PTE address)
Arg2: [COLOR=#ff0000][B]ffffffffc00000c0[/B][/COLOR], error status (normally i/o status code)
Arg3: 0000000183ffc880, current process (virtual address for lock type 3, or PTE)
Arg4: ffffc00000205bc0, virtual address that could not be in-paged (or PTE contents if arg1 is a PTE address)
Let's check the error which is being generated -

Code:
1: kd> !error [COLOR=#ff0000][B]ffffffffc00000c0[/B][/COLOR]
Error code: (NTSTATUS) 0xc00000c0 (3221225664) - [B][U]This device does not exist.[/U][/B]

I tried checking the dump file but it did not save enough information regarding your hard disk. Furthermore, the ZIP file does not contain all the required information.
Below is a list of 3rd party drivers present on your system -

I would suggest you to run the Hard Drive Diagnostics using the below guide -
http://carrona.org/hddiag.html

Furthermore, kindly upload the ZIP file generated by the below Tool. I would need the MSINFO32 report generated by it -
http://omgdebugging.com/msinfo-zipper/

It is very much possible that this problem is being caused by a faulty connection (Between Motherboard <-> Hard Disk).

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Ok, I've ran SeaTools and all tests came back positive. I still need to do a long generic one, but I'll wait to do it overnight as I use this PC a lot. Running the tool you linked gave me the following .zip, hopefully with all you need.

Hi Ntuttle ^_^,

Did you experience more BSODs? Kindly let me know the results of the long generic test. The zipped file which you uploaded shows applications crashing and hanging (I saw huge number of entries regarding the Avira and Skydrive) . There are other entries as well which say that the applications are hanging or crashing but did not list their names. Could you please tell me how your system is behaving? Like when it does not BSOD, do you see freezing or application crashes?

If you are receiving more of these crashes, please follow the BSOD Instructions again and then upload the dump files so that I can check them one more time.

Really sorry for the delay :(

Hey Pranav,

I haven't experienced any new BSODs for a while, the problem seems to come back in packs. As you can see by my .dmps, I had tons of crashes in December through March, then they stopped. I only had one in May until I got another series of crashes in June. As I am typing this, the long generic test is running. I should have the results later today. As for applications hanging, I did notice that SkyDrive crashes fairly often on startup, but I haven't noticed many other crashes. Other ones may be Java or Firefox. Usually my system runs slowly while it experiences the string of BSODs. When it runs normally, it's great. Right now there is no problem with my computer other than those BSODs. I don't notice any difference when it is not crashing every couple days.

Thanks again for the help,
Ntuttle

Also, if you don't mind, could you please run the tool below and upload the ZIP file generated by it (It is in BETA)? If you do decide to run it and experience any crash, I would really appreciate if you could just post the screenshot of the crash -

There are many reports missing in the ZIP file attached and I would like to know the number of updates you have installed.

To fix this issue manually, until blueelvis has solved it, create a folder called blueelvis in the following directory
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Temp\

If your OS partition has another letter, change C to that letter.

The attachment which you sent via PM is not working :(
57 updates is really low since most of the Windows 8.1 systems have around 150+ updates installed. Please visit Windows Update and make sure that you have applied every update (Including the Optional ones).

The Long Generic test came back with a pass. I have also sent the updates via PM.
Hmm. There is a possibility that this is a connection problem. In case the BSOD happens again or some weird problem crops up again, please notify me. I would also suggest you to take a backup of the system, just to be on the safe side.
