Hi Headscript & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

I have analysed your dump files and below has been provided an analysis of the same for informative purposes :-

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b)
An exception happened while executing a system service routine.
Hmm, let's check the stack to see if it captured something which can help us catch the culprit -
Code:

So, we see that AVG Antivirus Driver was the cause behind the Network Driver to copy the stream data to a buffer but sadly it resulted in a page fault which caused the system to crash.

Below is a list of 3rd party drivers present on your system -

Kindly follow the below steps -

  1. Kindly update the driver highlighted in RED. This driver is responsible for the proper functioning of the Ethernet Network Card. Furthermore, the driver is quite old and most likely not compatible with Windows 8.
  2. I would suggest you to remove the AVG Antivirus using the below tool and see if the system stabilises or not -

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Thank you very much gonna see if it continues to bsod
steps which i done for now
replaced avg with avast
installed network drivers from 2013 instead of 2010(dell support site)

weird thing about it was that i had it working for years on win8.1 then i tried win10 where the network driver went to unknown network all 5 minutes

Hi headscript ^_^,

Better to install drivers which are compatible with Windows 10 especially the Networking Drivers. Those are nasty beasts!

Let me know in case of any further problems ^_^
