Not sure if this helps but I've been running some vmware stuffs recently and noticed the BSOD happening very frequently.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
The error you're getting is related Intel processor,
and the cause is most likely that your CPU is not properly configured.

Max turbo frequency is the maximum single core frequency at which the processor is capable of operating using Intel® Turbo Boost Technology. Frequency is measured in gigahertz (GHz), or billion cycles per second.

Your CPU Intel® Core™ i5-4670K Processor can handle up to 3.8GHz of speed, but it never reaches that speed.

Code:
1: kd> !sysinfo cpuspeed
CPUID: "Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz"
MaxSpeed: 3400 [COLOR=#ff0000]<-- this is bad and far below your CPU's processing power[/COLOR]
CurrentSpeed: 3400

Go into your BIOS and look for an option to configure your CPU to 3.8 GHz speed.

Once you have done this you'll run a diagnostic tool from Intel to trouble shoot problems.

Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool (64-bit)

When done share results ( screenshot of test ) :)

Hmmm... That's weird, cos the CPU is actually clocked to 4.2ghz. I have this software (CPUz) that reads it at that speed.
Should I go set it to stock speeds then run the Diagnostic Tool or just run it at the current settings?

How exactly did you overclock your CPU?

Yes run the diagnostic tool without changing settings, I'm just curious about the results.
then share a screenshot here and or report by using the tool.

Seeing how fast the Diagnostic test went, I did on both OCed settings and stock.
4,2ghz oc diagnostic:

stock clock diagnostic:

did my overclocking just by fiddling with the multiplier and the voltage for the cpu, thats all.
then ran prime95 small FTTs test for 24hours stable.
gaming on the more cpu intensive games (SC2, Crysis3) seems to be no problem

Please provide a report by using the diagnostic tool with default settings after test is done.
I think it's on File > save or something like that.

If you want to pass the above reinstalling or installing intel rapid storage could help.

The above is interesting :what:

Seriously I hope this is some mistake or the diagnostic tool overrun your CPU for this test only.
I have no clue why dump files don't tell this info?

You should reconsider overclocking or run this test more often after applying rapid storage service reinstallation and or adjusting CPU speed.

Virtual machines consume a lot of CPU so that could be the cause.

again my bad... that txt was for diagnostic test on stock testing.
here is the one with my OCed settings...

also i reinstalled the IRST, same results...

EDIT: also, i removed the intel graphics drivers cos i see them being installed from this diagnostic test. i dont remember installing that.

Try reinstalling/updating Intel Management Driver and chipset drivers.
If that does not help then I have no clue on how to reating current speed.

edit:
Note that Intel graphics card can also be disabled in BIOS.

I have looked into my bookmarks about possible issues about this case/error.

If clearing CMOS and adjusting BIOS settings does not help then you have only few options left:

1. restore CPU and BIOS to default settings and re run test.
2. check temperatures are correct.
3. if diagnostic test fails after all of the above tries you can declare your CPU as faulty.

edit:
or you can test the CPU on another mother board to see if motherboard itself has some issues.

edit 2:
you can also run some memory test and see if that helps, but very unlikely.

Btw, for your info virtual machines are known for BSOD, but I don't know how does this relates to this problem seriously.
