"Critical process died" and frequent restarting

A few days ago, I encountered a virus on a webpage. My Avast antivirus warned me of it and that was that – I thought it had been taken care of. Later that night, my HP laptop showed a blue screen and showed “CRITCIAL_PROCESS_DIED”. Since then, my computer goes to that blue screen again and then sometimes shows a black screen that says “Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard Disk (3F0)”. But after I manually turn my laptop on and off, it’ll take some time starting up (I’ll see the blue screen a few times in the process), but my laptop will work fine again for a little while until the whole process happens again. Can this be fixed?
I appreciate any and all help – thanks!

Sorry but dump file can't be opened, first time seeing this.
I tried searching google as what could be the case but all links refer to opening a dump file in general, not related to this problem.
except this and few others so I hope somebody else should be able to open it.
not sure why, have latest stuff installed but no luck.

It pretty much means the dump file didn't save, somethign wnet wrong when writing it to disk. Given your scenario, the fact that it says "boot device not found", means that it's almost certainly your drive failing.
You should backup your data, then RMA the laptop (if it's still under warranty), or buy a new hard drive.
