Picked up a used gaming laptop. Cyberpowerpc.
believe it's a Raven, i7 2.4, Nvidia 675m gpu and 16gbs of ram. Not sure of exact model.

Played perfectly fine for 48 hours.
Next day, went to play and it crashed To blue screen. Video TDR error. Also getting an error of Software denied access to graphics hardware if it doesn't BSOD. Only started having a problem when Windows did some "automatic updates".

things I've tried:
Reinstalling Windows. No change.
reinstalled GPU drivers. No change.
downgraded gpu drivers. No change.

Did the fresh install of 8.1 today, now I can't get it to see the 675m at all.
Any suggestions on what to do next?

Hi adoravivos & welcome to the forums ^_^,

Kindly follow the below instructions and upload the Diagnostics ZIP file with your next post. It contains useful information which would help us in detecting the problem which you are facing :)

I am not sure, but does the BIOS detect the GPU?
In your next post, could you please post a screenshot of the temperatures of the laptop using the CoreTemp (**SOURCE**)?
Kindly post screenshots of the temperatures while the system is idle and while under some graphics intensive load.

Have you contacted the previous owner regarding this? It is possible that the previous owner knew about these problems.

Let me know how it goes ^_^
