BSOD NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM on slow wi fi networks

Hi!

ONLY when i am at slow wifi networks like my college or some public wifi, i get random bsods!

If i am in chrome, the bsod appears to display faster than in another browser.

I have a windows 8.1 hp pavilion g6 laptop.
My drivers i think are already up to date.

My ideia is that is something related to the wifi network card, or the wifi driver.

Thanks!

Kindly perform the below steps -
  1. Please remove BitDefender since parts of it are outdated. Use this **TOOL** to remove it completely. Once you have uninstalled the antivirus, make sure you enable the Windows Defender till we are troubleshooting the system.
  2. Please remove VMWare products currently installed on the system. Some of it's drivers are outdated. I would suggest you to remove it till the time we are troubleshooting your system.
  3. If you are still getting BSODs, please run Driver Verifier according to this **GUIDE** and then re-run the Diagnostic tool and upload the freshly generated ZIP file.

Also, how do you know that it is happening only on the slow networks? You don't get any BSODs while on other networks? o_O

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Hi,

Thanks for answering!

I removed the bitdefender and vmware like you said.

Also enabled driver verifier to see if it detects something.

Yep, i only get BSODs on slow wifi networks. In fast wifi or cable networks i never get a BSOD!

Thanks again and let's hope it works!

Driver Verifier failed to catch any culprit which is a 3rd party component. I would suggest you to start the Hardware Diagnostics (Start with Memtest first) over here -
Hardware Diagnostics

Make sure that you do at least 8 passes of Memtest and see if you find any errors while performing the other tests as well.

Let me know how it goes ^_^
