I was playing Dota 2 on my laptop when I saw several small pixelated artifacts moving on the screen. I decided to alt-tab to see if my eyes were playing tricks on me, and the screen went black and I couldn't do anything. The screen was slowly flashing for awhile until there was a popup saying "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered."
It continued to flash until I got a BSOD saying DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (igdkmd64.sys). I rebooted the computer only to have it do the same thing on the start screen with the artifacts still there until I got a BSOD again.
I'm now typing this in safe mode since I can't start up normally because of the constant crashing. Can anyone help me?
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core i7-4700MQ
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780M
