Bsod system_thread_exception_not_handled (bckd.sys)

I was hoping someone here will be able to help me. My parents computer keeps on freezing/restarting, a blue screen pops up saying "system_thread_exception_not_handled (bckd.sys)". So it mostly started when someone by mistake downloaded Reg Pro Cleaner, the problem is they stopped it halfway through the download so it's not really on the computer (so I cant delete it and won't ever fully open it just opens when I turn on the computer and stays white) I tried to install it fully and then uninstall it but it didn't work. I have a basic working knowledge of computers, not an expert at all. If someone would be able to help I would be extremely grateful,
