Hello,

I am desperate, I bought a computer in July 2014 and since theme I am having continuous nightmare. It is from a Spanish manufacturer called Mountain, the model is a Graphite 40. I already have sent it two times to the manufacturer, they said that it was a defective SSD and changed, but the problem still continues.

The issue is that I am having frequently (once or twice a day) and random BSOD, the messages are different each time. It is totally random, It can appear working on 3D CAD programs, searching on the browser or simply arranging folders. Lately the error messages are:

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED(intelppm.sys)

View attachment 58202

I hope someone could give me some help. If you need more details please comment.

Unsolved

Thanks for the advice. Those drivers in red from 3dconnexion are not the problem, and they are in their last version. Although I have updated the video and audio drivers the problem not only have not been solved but also the number of BSOD have increased a lot ( one each 30 min aprox.)

I attach the new dump and call for help.

This appears to be a HW issue. Please test your HDD with HD Tune and upload SS of Health and Error Scan (not quick please). SS of that as well.
After that, run RAM: RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Help Forums
one stick at a time eight passes per stick. You can stop the test earlier if you encounter errors.

It fails in Memtest86: Test 11.

Now my question is how I could diference between a RAM fail or a PSU fail?

If your PSU failed, you wouldn't get any power and you couldn't even power up your PC.

Then it is for sure a RAM issue??.
Or could be a defective capacitor or voltage peaks due to a bad PSU?

It could be a defective RAM slot on your motherboard as well. Test the stick that failed in another slot to confirm. If it fails again, I'd say bad RAM.
If it doesn't, then it might be that your RAM slot is damaged.
Please list your components and the age and model of your PSU.

I cannot open the laptop because it is still in warranty, but I will pass this information to the manufacturer (Mountain) because there has been three attempts of repair without success.

Thanks for your time!

It is quite strange, I did the test again wit Memtest86 v6 and no errors were found. But with Memtest v5.1 all the times have error in test 11. I will say this to them too.

Good. That's the software all analysts here use, so I'd say it's reliable.
