Uninstall Bullguard in safe mode with the special tool to do so. Reboot, set Windows Defender to Automatic and do the same for Windows Firewall.
Please do not ever use driver updating tools. They will only cause your machine to be close to, if not, unrepairable software-wise one day. It sounds a little extreme because you can always fix things, but in even some rare cases, it is even very difficult for me after these things have been used.
So, definitely uninstall Driver Genius and from now on, get all of your drivers only from the manufacturer's sites only. This is even advisable over Windows Update whenever at all possible.
The above will fix it, but I'd be inclined to also uninstall Internet Download Manager.
When done, visit the motherboard maker's site to download/install latest chipset and storage drivers. Use Device Manager if necessary, to install.
