Solved BSOD at random times KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

Hey,
this happend a couple of times now and I have honestly no idea when or why it started.
The BLUE Screen says KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE and needing some time to dump files before restart.
It occurs, while porgramming, surfing on the internet (no watching videos) or even playing some easy Win 8.1 Store Games (no big graphics) - I couldn't make out a specific pattern with the BSOD yet.

If you could help me out, I would be really thankful

Please check for updates for your GPU. What AV are you using and are you using some kind of network monitor (self-standalone, or AV integrated, doesn't matter)?

Hi,
thank you very much for replying! I just updated my AMD (for GPU) and Intel Hardware Drivers via ATI and Intel Auto-detect Updater (hope that installed everything quite nice).

The Network Monitor is a Firewall called GlassWire, it's quite new and pretty satisfying in that matter. For AV there's currently only the MS standard installed.

I think it might be causing havoc on your system because there is something going on in the network part.

hmm I installed latest ATI and Intel drivers, but it keeps crashing at random times. Can you tell me more about the network issue you saw? Where can I find more about it and are there any details (like vendor name or sth like that)?

AV is MS Defender (Standard) only and Firewall is "GlassWire Network Security", no other internet monitor/parental control installed that I know of.

Also if that helps: crashing occurs more often in idle mode (like when I haven't done anything for some time)

Could you uninstall Glasswire just to test. I've seen issues with it... If that doesn't help, enable DV as I told you above.

Leave it running for 24 h. If you experience no BSOD til then, turn it off.

Thanks for letting me know. So, the BSODs stopped when Glasswire was removed?

yes, Glasswire really have must been the issue.
Kinda odd, as it worked with Glasswire quite some time without issues.

Maybe it has some program bugs/issues, such as too full log/db files, that weren't handled.
