crashes to red screen and reboots playing Beyond Earth

I recently wiped my main drives and started over with fresh Windows 8.1 for several issues. I have fully updated Windows now, and updated all of my drivers using Driver Max Pro. I have now been having some crashing issues, mostly while playing Beyond Earth. It will go to an all red screen (never seen this before) then reboot as if it was a normal BSOD crash.

Update drivers in red and start Hardware Diagnostics I am suspicious that your GPU might be failing, but lets test your system. It's most likely a HW issue.

AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center. This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems.

Download 3DP Chip. It will mark the drivers which need updating with a yellow exclamation mark.

Alright, I used 3DP. updated audio drivers like it wanted. I can not update my ethernet card drivers to save my life. it is Intel 82583V. tried every way I know how install a driver. 3DP, the auto install program, manually selecting the folder with device manager. it just does not want to update. I took a new BSOD scan in case that helps find any problems.

Also found some threads discussing the ethernet driver is a known problem with this MOBO.
