Hi everyone,

I seem to be having similar issues to everyone else. The computer freezes, I have to use the power on/off button to turn it off and back on again, I can't find a correlation in my usage, and I don't know how to read these log files.

Here is my .zip file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Uninstall Sophos in safe mode with the special tool.

Reboot to normal mode. Set Windows Defender service to Auto and start it. Do the same for Windows Firewall, if not already.

I uninstalled Sophos and made sure windows defender and firewall are up to date and turned on.

I just had another crash event. It occurred right around 22:10 (10:10pm 04/27/12)

I looked it over and it seems it revolves around Google Chrome. Chrome is fully up to date. Any other ideas?

Here is another set of logs:

If your Chrome is the only thing freezing up, clear your LSOs using this and it will fix it:

AdobeClearFlash

Other than that, you have lots of things starting with Windows that I would disable.

Thanks. I cleared the LSOs and went through and cleaned up startup. Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it.
