I had my computer built for me about six months ago, been experiencing this issue on and off from the beginning. Most notably encountering this error when streaming Youtube using their HTML5 player, but have also had it crash playing games or browsing websites like Tumblr. I use Chrome, but it happens in Firefox and IE as well.

Unfortunately can't get hold of the guy who built the thing originally so I'm gonna have to take a crack at it myself. From what I understand, the issue is either driver or hardware related, but beyond that I'm having trouble pinning down the exact issue. I'm still new to handling hardware so any guidance for dummies would be appreciated!

Kindly update the above highlighted drivers.
You are experiencing the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR which means that the Windows Hardware Error Architecture caught an error. This is generally seen with faulty CPU's. In your case, the dump files say that the system is experiencing an Internal Classified Error on Bank 4 (which is inside the CPU).
Kindly, run the below CPU Diagnostic Tests and see if you are getting any errors -

Prime95 download site:
http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft/
Prime95 Setup:
- extract the contents of the zip file to a location of your choice
- double click on the executable file
- select "Just stress testing"
- select the "Blend" test. If you've already run MemTest overnight please run the "Small FFTs" test instead. (run all 3 if you find a problem and note how long it takes to error out with each)
- "Number of torture test threads to run" should equal the number of CPU's times 2 (if you're using hyperthreading).
The easiest way to figure this out is to go to Task Manager...Performance tab - and see the number of boxes under CPU Usage History
Then run the test for 6 to 24 hours - or until you get errors (whichever comes first).
Monitor the CPU temperature and DON'T let it exceed 85ºC. If it does, then you probably have a CPU cooling problem.
- CPU temps exceeding 60ºC can cause errors in Prime95. Fix the cooling solution first, then run Prime95 again.
This won't necessarily crash the system - but check the output in the test window for errors.
The Test selection box and the stress.txt file describes what components that the program stresses.
NOTE: Errors should be considered when:
- the system BSOD's during Prime95
- the system freezes during Prime95 (this is different than the extreme slowness caused by the program using all your RAM and CPU)
- the Prime95 program crashes
- the Prime95 program shows errors in it's display
- there are errors in the Prime95 results file
More details on the use of this test: http://www.playtool.com/pages/prime95/prime95.html

Also run the Intel Burn Test from the below link -

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Hi blueelvis, thank you for your help!

I began the testing for my CPU, but after about ten minutes of running, my CPU's temperature shot up to over 90c! I turned it all off quickly, and its now sitting around 40c. Additionally, my motherboard hit temperatures of 87c. Same issue when I tried the Intel Burn test - I turned it on and the temperatures shot up immediately. I'm not sure if this is causing my error, but it definitely needs to be addressed.

This is obviously not great, so what can I do to help my computer maintain better temperatures? It's the height of summer here in Australia so I need a sustainable solution.

Finally, I took a look at the drivers - this is going to sound silly, but not sure how to track down the drivers I need with the information you've provided me. Is there an updating for dummies guide somewhere?

EDIT: Nevermind on that last part, I figured it out and I think I've got all the important drivers updated! I was also wondering - on HWMonitor, I'm noticing I have multiple fans, but only one is running at the moment. Could these extra fans be turned on and help with cooling?

Hi Tupperwarelid ^_^,

Sorry for the late reply, I just got back to home.

Yes, those temperatures are pretty high. The fans should be running all the time even if at low speeds according to me. Try cleaning up your system for dust and make sure that the fans are not clogged up. Use a can of compressed air. Do not use a vacuum cleaner to collect the dust.

Also, try placing a table fan aiming directly at the motherboard near the CPU and run the above tests and see if your system is running at lower temperatures or not. While the table fan is running, try using your system normally and see if it crashes or not.

I have heard of this software but never used it -
SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

See if you can increase the speed of the fans.

Let me know how it goes ^_^
